Dan Knowles co-opted to Compulsory Purchase Association National Committee

The Compulsory Purchase Association is a ‘Not for Profit’ member organisation which seeks to encourage and develop best practice within Compulsory Purchase and Compensation. It brings together and channels expertise in Compulsory Purchase and Compensation from professions such as Solicitors, Chartered Surveyors, Town Planners and Accountants. It promotes the appropriate use of CPO, its best practice; and where necessary, reform.

In October 2018, our Director Dan Knowles was co-opted to join the Board of Directors of the Compulsory Purchase Association.

On being appointed to the board, Dan said “It is an honour to be co-opted to the Board of the CPA. The CPA is a bastion for good practice within our industry and I look forward to being able to ensure that homeowners are professionally represented at the top table. With so many homeowners affected by estate regeneration and schemes such as the third runway at London Heathrow and High Speed 2, it is essential that their voice is heard. I hope to be able to influence good practice to help ensure that this client group is treated fairly and appropriately.”

Neither Dan nor Sawyer Fielding receive any financial consideration, salary or dividends attributable to his position, which is expected to take a few hours of his time per month.
