Shanoor’s charity

As part of our Sawyer Fielding Gives Back arm, each member of the Sawyer Fielding team choose a charity to support each year.

Shanoor’s charity for 2019 is Uniting Friends.

Uniting Friends was launched by Russell Lerner in October 1996 as part of the Daybreak Barnardo project to support young people in transition to adult services. Its focus was to create a befriending and advocacy service. In September 2002, the service gained independent charitable status and created a management board, which is run by CEO Russell Lerner. The charity provides a range of activities that promotes personal development and independence, it operates a large and busy innovative day opportunities service, an evening and weekend befriending service, a ground to fork allotment project, a nightclub and radio show.

Most donations under Sawyer Fielding Gives Back are made shortly before Christmas each year.
